The children of DPS, Siliguri presented a special assembly cum programme on the occasion of the Birthday of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore. Recitations, ballads and short dance dramas with artistic biographical sketches of the Great Noble Laureate were put up.

15th August, 2003

The Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August amidst joy and great pleasure. Mr. Rajiv Mishra, ASP, unfurled the tricolors at DPS, Siliguri in the presence of several local dignitaries and eminent personalities from Delhi too.

DPS Siliguri, dedicated Independence Day, 2003 to the Indian Novel Laureates and beautiful sketches and biographical portraits of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, Sir C.V. Raman, Mother Teresa, Chandra Shekhar and Prof. Amartya Sen were unveiled by some of the parents, for children to fell inspired.

30th August, 2003

30th of August is Van Mohatsava Day and the Green Brigade of DPS Siliguri was seen in action before parents who had come to the school in large numbers for a Parent-Teacher get-together. They put up Awareness Raising posters and planted saplings.
